Natural eyebrows without much effort: how to achieve the look step by step

Well-groomed eyebrows have an amazing effect - they open up the gaze, frame the face and lend freshness and expression. Just as a well-chosen frame emphasises a work of art, harmoniously shaped brows perfectly accentuate your facial features. No dramatic styling is required: just a gentle correction and a little attention will create an impressive effect. In this step-by-step guide, you will learn how to shape your eyebrows in just a few simple steps - in a completely natural way and without the risk of removing too much.

It is best to pluck your eyebrows directly after showering. The skin is softer due to the heat and the pores are open - this makes plucking much more comfortable. Make sure you have good lighting and a quiet, comfortable place. A normal mirror is perfectly adequate. We advise against using magnifying mirrors - they encourage you to remove too much.

Use high-quality, precise tweezers such as the models from Rubis Switzerland to get a clean and targeted grip on every hair. We do not recommend waxing - it irritates the sensitive eye area unnecessarily and leaves you with less control over the result.

The ten most important tips for natural, beautifully shaped eyebrows

1. Stick to your natural brow shape:
The aim is not a complete change, but a gentle optimisation. Less is more here.

2. Shorten instead of plucking:
Hair that is too long should be shortened before plucking. Comb the brows slightly upwards and carefully cut off any excess hair - ideally with small, rounded scissors such as the Rubis Kid, which cut safely and precisely without damaging the skin.

3. Preparation is everything:
An alcohol-based facial toner removes excess oil and disinfects the skin before plucking.

4. Work in rows:
Tighten the skin lightly with two fingers and pluck each hair individually in the direction of growth - this will prevent skin irritation. Work slowly along the natural lower edge of the brow.

5. Check again and again:
Alternate regularly between the two eyebrows and check the result from a distance. Comb, pluck, check - this way you stay in control.

6. Don't shy away from speed:
Quick, targeted plucking movements are often less painful than hesitant plucking. Start directly at the skin to achieve a clean result.

7. Less is more:
If you only pluck below the brow, the look remains particularly natural.

8. Pay attention to the shape:
Brows should be slightly thicker at the base and taper out gently towards the end. The hairs between the brows should also be removed - this opens up the look even more.

9. Gentle care afterwards:
A toner cools and cleanses the skin after plucking. A soothing moisturiser will reduce any redness.

10. The right time:
It is best to pluck your eyebrows in the evening. This allows the skin to regenerate overnight.

With the right tools and a little patience, eyebrow care becomes a little beauty ritual that is worthwhile. And the best thing about it: you don't need any expensive products for this freshness kick - just a little time, a good eye and a reliable pair of tweezers.
