Self-care in 10 minutes – short breaks in everyday life with a big impact

Everyday life is often packed full – appointments, to-do lists, commitments. This makes little islands of calm all the more important, helping us to recharge our batteries. Self-care doesn't have to take hours or be complicated. Just a few minutes consciously spent on yourself can have an amazing effect.

1. Focus on your hands

Our hands are constantly in use – typing, carrying things, gesturing. Taking a moment to shape your nails or gently push back your cuticles not only makes a visual difference. It is also a small ritual that radiates calm and organises your thoughts.

2. Shape your eyebrows, clear your mind

A few precise strokes with tweezers – and your face immediately looks fresher. The beauty of it is that this small detail not only has an aesthetic effect, but also a mental one. Taking time for the finer details is an exercise in mindfulness.

3. Care as a mini break

A drop of oil for the cuticles, a touch of serum for the skin – often that's all it takes. The conscious movement, the brief pause, act like a little break from the day.
